Cytomel (T3) + acne?

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone developed acne (specifically cystic acne) while on Cytomel, and if so, if anything made it go away.

I do. It was dxed as acne rosacea by a dermatologist. I think acne can be a symtpom of hypothyroid, too. I hadn't thought of it being a result of the thyroid meds. Hmmmm...something to think about.

I get cystic acne from lithium. The acne is a pain in the you no where--I never had it before the lithium.

I get injections from a dermatologist to keep the acne down. the only other thing that has worked for me is antibiotics, which I prefer not to be on.
