Karen B. - Thank you, Apologies

Posted by SLS on July 16, 2000, at 10:32:06

Dear Karen,

I wanted to thank you for your reply to my "cruddy" post.

I can't believe I missed it. I am so sorry.

I raised the dosage of sulpiride to 150mg for about 5 days with no improvement. I then added Provigil, and received a small improvement that lasted for about three days. Thereafter, I experienced constant mild anxiety, a dulling effect, and headaches. I just didn't like the way I felt and discontinued it after only five days. I took my last dosage of sulpiride yesterday morning. What a mess.

I received my supply of sulpiride from England in the form of Sulparex 200mg tablets. Breaking them up wasn't too difficult.

Things are pretty bad. This morning was horrendous. I think this may have been due to discontinuing sulpiride. It seems more like a negative reaction than it does a loss of some unrecognized improvement. I seem to have rebounded a bit, though. I can't seem to get up the gumption to describe how bad I feel. I border on desperation. What a mess.

Right now, I am only taking Lamictal 300mg. I'm not sure what to do next. I hope I will recover enough to make some decisions this week. I am thinking about giving adrafinil a try.

I want to again thank you for your concerned reply and apologize for not having acknowledged it.

- Scott

Hi Scott - Sorry you're feeling so awful. Just want you to know you're in my thoughts.

Take care of yourself. You're worth it.
