I am on effexor xr, lithium, seroquel and topamax. Is it okay for me to take some benadryl?

Hi akc, wondered where you were off to. If I take an antihistamine, old new kind whatever, it makes me very depressed with in 48 hours and, visa versa, the mood lifts within 48 hours of stopping.... Just me wee brain...and nobody has been able to explain it to me. Be sure and check with your doc and pharamist... Do you have a kod?

No cold -- I stil have the weird ear thing going on I posted about last week. My therapist said to try benadryl, but told me to check with my pdoc before taking it -- pdoc has gone for the day, so I thought I would check here. My t is also a nurse and she thinks it is a middle ear thing, probably caused with the flights to and from seeing my mom (and being at a higher altitude while visiting my mom) and that a good drying out is in order. I want to try this before I go see the pcp.
