i was prescribed cipramil(celexa) and zyprexa for the last 3 years.....i had to stop taking 10 mg of cipramil
because i am experiencing a lack of sex drive...but my depression has returned...does anyone know of an A.D. without sexual dysfunction...iam also taking 90mg of q10 to combat constant fatigue from zyprexa...does any one know of any bad side effects of q10. thanks.

I previously cautioned someone against gingko biloba due to its blood thinning effects but someone posted back that it's good added to ADs to help stop the sexual disfunction that many cause. So I'm mentioning it for you. I came across a piece about it last night & will provide a link for you to read & decide yourself.

1. Why not substitute Zyprexa with Risperdal ? Less sedating !
2. Wellbutrin, Serzone, Effexor, Remeron, Edronax (reboxetine) and Manerix all cause less sexual side effects. Wellbutrin causes the least. However, why not get back to Celexa, and add Remeron 7.5mg-15mg before sleep ? It will return your sex drive ! (A tip from Prof. Avi Weizman, Israel's No.1 Psychopharmacologist)

Mario, gingko biloba can cause blood to clot less & perhaps contribute to nose bleeds. Check with your pharmacist or doctor. Maybe taking less would stop nose bleeds.

Make sure your diet and/or vitamin-mineral intake is good. Supplementing with a good 'Stress' formula vitamin B complex tablets wouldn't hurt & probably would help. A good formula from a drug store or supermarket is sufficient - you don't need pricey pills. Make sure you take it just after a full meal. B vitamins are water-soluble & need a full stomach to get the most out of them. How about zinc intake in your diet too?
