I always see mg/kg in psychopharmacology textbooks & i'm trying to find out my weight (187 lbs.) in kgs. A Kilogram is how many pounds?
Also, is 1000 grams a Kilogram?

A kilogram is about 2.2 pounds.
Yes, 1000 grams= 1 kg
187 pounds x (1kg/2.2lbs) = 85 kg
