i just read someone saying dexedrine helping his anxiety as well as his major depression.
is this true generally with these stimulants?
because i need something to get rid of severe dep and anxiety. and meds like prozac and effexor make the anxiety along with mind torture go through the roof.do the stims actually help anxiety? i worried they could increase it. how does it work.
if it actually does no harm to anxiety and even makes it better then i could be looking at a possible miracle cure since all these damn 17 meds i tried i have done little, or just plain made me suicidal.

I think this is a good question, and I laos recall someone posting this.
Thus far, for me, the stims have worsened my anxiety at points throughout the day b/c of their short hlaf-life. I am set to try Concerta tomorrow, basically Ritalin that is supposed to last all day and will add the outcome to my Ritalin thread above, and will try to remember to put it here as well.
Stims are Much better for me than the SSRI's, though. I'm BP.
