Does anyone know how to identify a Lamotrigine / Lamictal rash (how to tell it apart from other rashes)? Or how to identify a rash which is not caused by Lamotrigine / Lamictal. Please.
Thank you.

Hi. As I understand it from a dermatologist, a non-dangerous rash reaction from Lamictal doesn't have to look any one specific way. In this matter, the board can't adequately provide you with the information you want.
Don't mess around trying to figure it out yourself. Just go to a dermatologist!
If you tell them you are taking Lamictal and have developed a rash, they will squeeze you in straight away. Mine did. When I developed a rash, I was in a dermatologist's office that very day. It was a small, harmless rash, but oversight from an expert was important to have.
