I will be starting an SSRI (not sure which one yet) next week for TRD. I think I will need to take a pstim as well. I have a previous history of amphetamine abuse but never had trouble with Ritilan. Can anyone relate experiences with Concerta? I would be most interested to know if any pbabblers have developed a tolerance to Concerta. I have a conservative pdoc so I am sure his first choice will be Provigil - I haven't read very many good reviews on that but correct me if I am wrong.

I like Concerta very much. It doesn't come on fast or drop off quickly. It is Ritalin as you know. I have recently cut back from 54mg to 36mg because I feel better lately. I have never had a problem abusing stimulants. As for tolerance- maybe you get used to it, but I never had a sense of needing more and more to achive the same result. Provigil made my forehead muscles tired, like I was always keeping me eyebrows raised. Weird, eh.
