i am taking ritalin sr + 2.5 mg zyprexa (decreasing) + clonazepam
despite the ritalin i still feel somewhat depressed
i asked my doc about adding an AD, but he said the synergy would be too powerful and dangerous for someone with bipolar II
he also said dexederine and adderall would "fry my brain" ...
anyone have any suggestions?
is it true than stim+AD=trouble?
hmmmmm... i wonder if aripiprazole is available in europe

Maybe It's the zyprexa causing the deppresion? Taking stimulants with ssri's? I personally have tried this and found the stimulants often seemed to help calm me down. I rarely felt overstimulated. Have you thought of changing pdoc's?

The stimulant might be being used to help alleviate depression and also off set some of the tiredness associated with zyprexa and to a lesser extent the cloz. I am bp also and an ssri user at times, mixed with xanax and lamictal, but don't think I could handle a stimulant and ssri at the same time without being way panicky and verging on mania. That's just me though. Good luck.

i dunno... i asked my doc, and he said adding any more meds would cause musculerinic (the acetycholine receptor) overload and my heart would stop
hmmmm... who knows, maybe depressions all in my head ...
yeah, i feel better when i force myself to go out...
but then, who can afford it?
