I have been getting pretty bad water weight gain from my 45 mgs. of Remeron. I am wondering if cutting my dosage (to possibly 15 mgs. or less?) would help with this sort of side effect at all? I am out of ideas for this problem. Even tried a diuretic (it made me very ill).

Hi, I get bloating often. How much water do you drink?? also, I was given Dyazide for my bloating, (a potassium sparing diuretic) and it didn't work as well as just drinking plain ole water-a lot of it. IMHO, if the Remeron is working for you emotionally at your current dose-don't mess with a good thing because of your bloating. I know it sux, but can you try drinking a lot of water each day???-I find it helps for me. I also found that because I have PCOS, I get bloated even more, but when I did a 10 day trial of Provera, had a period, the bloating decreased a lot. What do you think? Can you relate?
