i need help

my wife has been getting sick for awhile now several trips to the hospital for constent vomitng.we have no regular doctor and no insurance.and no diagnosis,anyway ativan is the only thing thats stops the sickness but they will only subsribe small amounts becouse its addictive. what kinda doctor do i need to take her to,to get a subscription.

You could probably get a prescription for Ativan from any regular general practicioner. You should probably see a gastroenterologist if the problem is constant vomiting though (a GI doctor could also presecribe Ativan). I had this problem myself when I was in college and it was due to a number of factors- I had GERD and my high levels of anxiety were making it worse. I was throwing up constantly. But constant vomiting could be due to a number of things. Please get her to a doctor for a complete physical ASAP. I know you don't have health insurance but most doctors will let you work out a payment plan. Don't wait too long! Also, there is a generic for Ativan called lorazepam which is cheaper.
