I had my effexor xr increased from 150mg to 225 mg a week and a half ago. Does it take the standard four weeks to feel the effects of the increase or would it be more immediate?

My P Doc changed mine from 300 to 450 and told me to come back in 4 weeks to give it time to see if it's a good dose for me. So I am assuming it takes about 4 weeks to get full benefit.

Thanks Nissy! I wasn't quite sure if my body, being familiar with the drug, would give immediate results. I guess I'll see how things go in three weeks.
