Briefly, week 2-3 can be pretty bad w/side effects, depends on how you react to it. Most se's lessen and go away during wk 4-5. It takes 5-6 wk before many feel a *difference*. Please don't get discouraged right off, it may take a while but it's really been worth it for me and many others.

Hi becki, there are tons of threads here lately on Lexapro, I hope you can find some of them that will help you. Everyone responds differently on this medication it seems. Please keep us posted on how you are doing and we will all help if we can:-)
I'm going on week 4, so far so good, the only thing that has been really a bother is insomnia~~but that's just one of my side effects, and some others. Yours may vary.

Have been on lexapro since the end of may. The first few weeks were hard but i'm glad i stuck with it. i also had insomnia at first but now i'm sleeping great. there are alot of lexa-pros in this group - could not have done it without their support. good luck - kinsey
