I've heard so many horror sotries about Effexor withdrawl, I was just wondering if anyone has had success with the drug. I mean unqualified success, not just "I don't feel as bad."
What about in combination with Elavil?
Thanks. Just wanted to hear something positive.

In reply to Effexor successes?, posted by Atlantsi on August 27, 2003, at 22:12:17
I had success with Effexor for about 3 years. It helped me socially, educationally, emotionally, and physically.
I've never touched Elavil because I heard that it causes some to gain a lot of weight-I don't want that and I found alternatives anyway.
Effexor was a good medication for me, coming off it wasn't good. I'm no longer taking it, but wish you the best.
Good luck:-)> I've heard so many horror sotries about Effexor withdrawl, I was just wondering if anyone has had success with the drug. I mean unqualified success, not just "I don't feel as bad."
