Has anyone ever blacked out while taking Wellbutrin? I have had 3 episodes in the past month where I have blacked out which is then followed by 24 hours of nausea, fatigue, dizziness, vertigo, generally feeling awful. All of my tests have come back normal and the medication is the only thing that I feel could be doing this. (Have since stopped, but not long enough to know if this is what was causing it)

>What do you mean by "blacking out" Do you lose consciousness or simply awareness?
Wellburtin can lower the seizure theshold but I'm not sure if you're having seizures of not. The period followed by seizures can be rough...exhaustion, illness etc...
Glad you're off the drug...it doesn't sound very good for you!

By blacking out, I mean almost fainting, but being able to stop. Do you know what your car feels like when it runs out of gas? A very slow stopping of all your systems, blood pressure, heart, etc. Then, I can stop the fainting, but am really sick after that. I was tested for seizures and fortunately, that was not the culprit.

Hmmm...that's rather strange. I know some AD's can cause changes in blood pressure but I don't know if that's a frequent side effect of Wellbutrin.
At any rate, good thing that you're off it and feeling better!
