Hi,
When I was on Topamax I started getting acne. Then when I got off it got worse and I still have it. Anyone else have this experience on Topamax, Lamictal, Neurontin, Depakote or other AD's? Any input would be great.
Thanks
Sara

I'm currently taking Tegretol...a good ol' fashioned AC and I haven't had any problems...

Yes! For the first time since my teen years I've had to go out and purchase something to help me with acne!! I've been on Topamax for almost 2 months and have noticed a marked increase in acne, especially around my hairline, and they seem more sore-like and painful than usual (more info than you needed to know, I know...).

Hi,
I believe the Topamax was a factor for aggravating it. But I slowly started tapering the lithium(which used to dry out my skin), so I think my body is just trying to find a balance right now.

This is the end of the thread.
