Hi i recently went to the doctor to get meds for my anxiety. I was on elavil for six years and all of the sudden i have my anxiety back, he put me on celexa. Has anyone had any bad side effects and will it work for my axiety.

I have been on Celexa for 2 years, but I have never noticed any anti-anxiety properties. I am on an anti-psychotic and a mood stabilizer as well, and those seem to help my anxiety (I'm BP1).
When I've had to switch my meds, the Celexa alone was never enough to combat my anxiety. Of course, that doesn't mean it won't work for you.
