Hello, I just started taking Lamictol a few days ago, along with effexor and a benzo for bp2. I was wondering how long should it take for the lamictol to kick in? and if anyone has any good things to say about the drug?

I'm on Le and 1.5 klonopin for anxiety and depression. The first day I took , I couldn't believe how "normal" I felt! Now I am doing ok but am used to it not great not bad just dealing with a current issue that's been kicking eight tons of crap out of me. But I really think it's helping , along with prayer.

Lamictal has been the best thing I've tried, and I've tried a lot. I'm at 200mg. I hear of some people on higher doses and some on less. It has been weight and sex neutral which is nice.
Build up slow. It takes a while to reach a therapeutic dose. I have seen some posts here about poop-out but that hasn't been my experience.
