AD Med. and Indigestion/Heartburning problem

Hi All:
Once awhile during the sleep, I have annoying problem on 'indigestion' and 'heartburning.' ... mostly after a few hours' sleep. For this, I've been taking just one tablet of 'Prilosec.' However, the next day after this anti-ulcer med., I developed some 'dizziness' along with 'uneasy feelings' to not able to continue taking this once rxed med., but now 'over-the-counter' med. for anyone desires to take.

In the past, I took several weaker over-the-counter anti-acid meds., such as Mallox(Max. form), 'Tom and etc., and NONE of them working on my indigestion problem. Seems this problem/indigestion attributes to AD Med. I've been on.
Is any of you have same or similar problem as mine, 'Indigestion,' and 'Heart-burning sensation' to wake up in the middle of night for needing to reach for anti-acid med.?

I would truly appreciate it if you could provide me with any information and suggestion for this on-going problem mentioned above. Thanxs!
