Hi...
I'm wondering how long one must be off a med that's "pooped-out" (lost its effectiveness) before you can try it again and get results. I'm sure it depends on the med (in my case it's a tricyclic I'm using for pain control), but I'd love to hear opinions/experiences.
Thanks,
Lia

Hi...I was on 50 mgs of Zoloft for 10 yrs then it pooped out...I got off of it for 9 weeks and tried Lexapro which wasnt good for me....After the 9 weeks I got back on the Zoloft 75 mgs this time and Once again ,Its working great after only being back on it for a month. My Doc said sometimes when a med poops out and you get off of it for a little while ,It will ususally work again.which for me is proven to be true.Good Luck and keep us posted
