I recently upped my Lamictal (from 100 per day to 15) and added Klonopin. 1/2 mg. 2xday. Felt good for about a week or so, now I am back to being extremely agitated and very fatigued. For the most part the depression is gone, but I just feel yucky and really agitated. I also take Remeron 30 and Restoril for sleep, 15. Any ideas why I am climbing the walls and biting everyones head off. I just don't feel mellow and good like I thought the Klonopin would help with. Help!

Probably the Lamictal. It makes some VERY agitated. I HATED it because of the agitation (I ditched it!). As you increased it, you probably hit a certain dosage which hit a 'threshold'---the dosage where the agitation REALLY kicked in. I couldn't even tolerate a small dose of that stuff. Good luck to you!

As I slowly increased up to 300 mg, the agitation and anxiety increased considerably. Also, I could not sleep for the life of me. As soon as I went off, I felt much better. Am now taking 2 mg of Klonopin and 2.5 mg of zyprexa at night and feel so much better.
