I am desperate to hear of any successes with these medications - I have been on "regular" AD's for years and have just switched to these med's
I am on 10 mg lexapro 200 mg (100 night and 100 day) topomax and .5 mg risperdal.
I have 4 kids and a husband who need me and I am depserate to finally find relief - anyone have any hope for me??Thanks for listening - and thank you to Jay for repsonding to me earlier it really helps to hear for others who understand.

I am on Topomax, but not for depression, but for migraines. However, I know that the first month of Topo, I seemed depressed, which in some cases is a side effect of the drug. So, the first month or so on Topomax might be a little rough. Of course, now I'm doing much better and am really doing well on this med.
