Has any one had the experience of having there Efexor XR dosage split into two dossages, my son had his 300mg split into a 150mg morning dose and a 150mg evening dose. I was under the impression that XR was a ONCE a day pill only.

I take my effexor on a split dosage 150mg in the morning and another 75mg in the evening no problems for me taking at two different time. I found when i took the whole 225mg in the morning I couldn't get off the ceiling by noon, but what's works for me might not work for someone else.

I've never tried it ... I take my 300 in the morning but I guess it could help if it makes you jittery and all.
