This is my fourth day without taking Effexor. I was at 150 mg for a couple years. My doctor weaned me off but the symptoms are horrible. Someone said something about Benadryl? Does that relieve the symptoms? Will I feel this bad for the rest of my life?

Benedryl has help me.
It "softens" the symptoms of withdrawl like dizzines, lightheadednes, light and noise sensitivity, and headache. Its no miracle cure...but it does help
And from what I a reading, studying and seing posted...these symtoms DO NOT last forever.
Hang in there..keep us posted
