I have been reading posts about Inderal. I know its a beta blocker and the website i found about it sounded scarey. Like it can cause heart probs/or attacks if you stop taking it..I have social phob. and thought that might help me get off of the xanax i have taken every day for years. But now I am scared to try it...

I also have a question about moodiness. I am taking lamictal (mood stabelizer) yet, I am very moody still. I am at 50mg now and will go up to 100mg in a week or so. I hope this will subside. I can be down right mean lately. I have yelled at my mother and been nasty to my husband. And that is not me. I have always been the "sweet" one...ps i also take prozac...
Thanks

The concern with beta blockers like inderal is if you quit taking them abruptly it can cause irregular heartbeat or even a heart attack. It's not recommended to take "as needed" but to stick with a dose and taper off if discontinued.
