I don't wan to take my Topamax

Posted by D minor on February 12, 2005, at 21:29:14

I really don't want to take my Topamax anymore. I'm only at 25mg anyway. I don't see my pdoc until Feb. 22, but I don't want to bother him. Why don't I want to take it? Because I seem to have so much more energy without it. I feel happier/hyper. Maybe that's a little hypo-manic. Only draw back is that I get sooooooo angry! Why is that? Oh well. I'm ready to just down right refuse to take it anymore. That's my right, isn't it? Am I wrong to do this? I don't know. I'm really conflicted on this. What to do, what to do......

Hi,

Of course it's your right not to take it anymore especially at a low dose of 25mg. I had a hard time with balance and cognitive processes with Topamax. I can relate to the anger with no MS. I need one.
Good Luck JN
