How much Lexapro is too Much?

MY pdoc has upped me to 60mg of Lexapro along with my other meds. I thought the max. dose was 20mg.

However, I have OCD and he says it takes higher doses of an AD to reduce symptom.

But is triple the max. dose safe. He said that he could even go as high as 80mg. But I wouldn't do it.

Is this safe and normal. Or should I be concerned.
