They say 60 mg is the maximum daily dose. Has anyone ever gone over that amount especially for the late evening. Like 80 mg.
Is there anything that can prevent tolerance? So that dose may be lowered? Anything at all.
In my past experience anything serotinergic drive me nuts meaning I become extremely restless anhedonic and lazy almost ironically so depressed?
Antihistamines [the older supposedly sedative ones] makes me foggy for a 1/2 hour or so and then its like I cant relax cant sleep.
Most of the GABA-mimetics with the exception of clonazepam and alprazolam gives me extreme brain fog and grumpiness. Alprazolam actually behaves like a stimulant WEIRD OR what???

I don't know anything about 80 mg at night, is that what your doc put you on? did you ask them about it? I know my doc says that sometimes they put ppl on a does of stimulant before bed to help them sleep. Settles them down and stops obsessive thinking. The stimulants make me drowsy, but I need a sleeping pill or benedryl to sleep. I'm ADD not narcoleptic, so I just don't know. I'd ask my doc.

I thought he/she meant 80 mg for the entire day. Not 80 mg to be taken at night.NARCOLEPTIC can you clarify?

Thanks for your reply. sorry I meant an extra 20 mg tablet at night to bring the total daily dose to 80 mg instead of 60 mg
