I am currently abstaining from alcohol while taking the following coctail:
Zyprexa 3.4 mg (2.5 and 5 on alternate days)
Paxil 20 mg
Cymbalta 60 mg
Xanax 2 mg
I a wondering if an occasional glass of wine or beer can be tolerated with the Zyprexa.
Tx,
BobS.

thats a tough one...alcohol certainly won't kill you or anything, but the additional sedative effects with everything you're taking (particularly the zyprexa and the xanax, although both are at low doses) could be a bit much. My advice would be to maybe grab a glass of wine or beer while you're alone and don't have to go anywhere--see how you feel, and judge based on that.

I used to drink like a fish on zyprexa, no problems. You just might have a hard time getting up in the mornings.
