Effexor or Paxil or other SSRI meds-- if I've only been on it for 4 days, is it ok to stop abrubtly?

You won't have any serious withdrawals like if you had been taking it for weeks or months, but you will most likely have some discomfort. It will probably begin in a day and be over in 4 days. If you didn't like the ssri, you will probably feel some relief and some discomfort all mixed together.

I always felt relief at getting off the med. Usually after around a week. Love Phillipa
