My pdoc told me that it's okay for me to forget to take my 0.75 mg Risperdal because it's not important.
I think it's mostly a placebo for me. LOL
Now I'm wondering if my pdoc continues to give me meds as placebos. I'm not sure she really believes I need meds. She's more into psychotherapy.
Although, she did tell me that the Celexa and Wellbutrin were important... I wonder how she knows? Maybe it's just a hunch? I don't know. We don't really talk about meds.
Maybe meds are like candy for me. Maybe it's the act of taking them that makes me happy. LOL Mmmmmm...candy.

I don't. I'm not sure if you were looking for feedback, or not, but I am convinced your Risperdal is an important component to your wellness, at this point in time. What I think is wonderful is that you don't feel side effects. To be able to compare your meds to candy is really a lucky thing for you.

I don't think my pdoc thinks I need it. I think she's just continuing to give it to me just to keep things the same.

OK Phillipa, I will take my meds.
Thanks for your opinion. Thanks for caring.
Maybe I shouldn't tempt fate right now. I should probably take them until I have my life on track.
I just feel good enough to stop taking stuff. I dunno, maybe I need them. It just worries me a bit how long I will need to take them for. I don't plan on taking meds for the rest of my life.

Deneb, I saw you in real life. You have episodes of profound depersonalization. You talk about them, all the time. They're visible to the world. I think there is more to being well than being happy.

Yeah, I think I know what you mean about happiness not being enough. I have to reach my full potential too, reach the level of self actualization. I'm nowhere near where I want to be in life right now.
I think my pdoc wants me to take meds until I'm (finally) finished with my degree and have a job.
