has anybody tried emsam with deprenyl pills/liquid

Posted by kise on September 3, 2006, at 5:39:40

just started emsam 6mg and am having good success augmenting with 5-10mg oral selegiline per day plus 3-4 drops a day of cyprenil/selepryl... i have done extensive calculations and am fairly sure this is the equivalent of the 12mg emsam (and maybe a bit more) plus, in terms of the amphetamine metabolites, the equivalent of 20mg of adderall per day... (so what i'm doing is merely equivalent to the 12mg emsam plus 20 mg adderall a day)...will post more later about the methodology if anyone is interested... i have had *no* ill effects, nothing close to a tyramine reaction (and i've eaten cheddar, cautiously at 1st) and feel great. my only reservation is going to this plan within the first couple weeks of starting emsam. that said, i am going to cut back on the extra deprenyl for the next few days, but will keep this info in my back pocket... has anyone else tried anything similar?

I actualy thought of this concept and mentioned it here, which was to keep the patch low since it cant be adjusted too much, and use the liquid drops as needed which can be more adjusted and controlled, this way your not getting more than you need at times you dont want/need it.

The whole idea is to keep the patch at a low dose and still have the ability to get a effect.I never thought to use the pills as after tons of personal stories and readings i find time and time again to hear negative reactions to it.

The liquid, for whatever reason may be,possably just more stably, has shown to be effective by a decent amount of people, more over for me i felt it work, good luck .

still having good success... the only reason for the (responsible) use of the pills is they are metabolized to the methamphetamine and amphetamine metabolites to a greater degree than the selegiline in the patch or liquid... i found partial success with adderall, but too many ups and downs, and too reinforcing. with the L-isomers of the MA and Amph, it is much smoother. i have not used the patch or liquid alone yet, so i don't know what the effect would be for me, but i like the "steadiness" of this combination. also, with adderall there was always the temptation to take more than prescribed. with this combination, it is not a problem... I like it! :)
