Posted by sdb on November 28, 2006, at 11:49:42

Hi everyone

Somebody still on the "oldie" Librium (chlordiazepoxide)?

What is the difference for you compared with Valium (diazepam), dosages comparison, properties, duration of activity, more depressant/mood?

kind regards

Hey in my twenties they first gave me valium then librium. I remember finding the librium not as effective for panic attacks at the time. Love Phillipa

Librium is 5 times weaker than Valium, give or take -- it was the first benzodiazepine. Valium was the second. Librium is primarily used for alcohol withdrawal today.
