I remember a psych giving me some years ago. I can't remember if it worked. Anybody know?

Cyproheptidine -- brand name Periactin -- is an old-time anti-histimine. It's hardly used that way anymore, thanks to the newer, cleaner, better antihistimines on the market, but it's used a lot for other things. Some uses I know about:
Countering the sexual side effects of SSRIs
Appetite stimulation in animals and humans, such as cancer or AIDS patients
Treating photic headshaking in horses
Treating Cushing's Disease in horsesThat's off the top of my head. The sexual side effects part doesn't work for everyone, but it was great for me. Worked a charm, and then I'd go to sleep...
Hope that helps.
