I take an SSRI and stimulant combination too: zoloft and concerta. Except, my T keeps talking about adding a benzo (probably klonopin).
It's been a couple years, but I remember it being a "strange new world" when I first added the concerta as well. It's a funny feeling, isn't it?

> Would you like to compare Lexapro to tianeptine? I had very high hopes for Tianeptine. But Tianeptine caused me to be edgy in a very big way in the afternoon -- we are talking ax-murderess -- and then very teary at night(oh my). The side effects were extreme. Now Lexapro, I wish I understood why, helped me regain a positive sense of future. It screwed up my sleep and still every morning i was up and ready to embrace the day.
it was me on a good day -- when i used to have the long periods of remission. I wasn't just "not depressed" but went beyond and shut off all the negative stories i undermine myself with
and i was very social.
strange side effects besides the gastro-intestinal An obsessive night-time thing of worrying my nails and cuticles or going overboard with any little bit of something between my teeth.
i wore cotton gloves so i would not distract myself from my nightly reading.
The one similarity was that both meds had a pro-sensual/sexual effect. Unfortunately my "social life" didn't support my desires.>
This is the end of the thread.
