Can anybody give me some personal or any research showing that taking Dostinex is safe? I've read about the possible 'Leaky Heart Valve' syndrome, and it is the only thing keeping me back. I usually respond good to anti-Parkinson's drugs. I take a fair bit of Prozac, so that may be why.
TIA..

WEll it isn't safe. Why not use a different DA agonist like pramipexole or ropinirole?

I am using Mirapex now, with so/so results, but I understand it only works on the D3 dopamine receptor. I think I've put my dopamine system out of whack from 15 or so years of SSRI's. My testosterone is way down, and my prolactin is up. That's why I got Dostinex. Testosterone supplementation hasn't been working for my sex drive. Only the Mirapex worked briefly for that.
I guess I'll have to look into some other meds too..Thanx,
Jay
