I get a weak, yet noticeable and desirable, antidepressant pro-energy pro-concentration effect from nicotine. But only in the 4mg fruit chill Nicorette gum, not from cigarettes. I think there is too much carbon monoxide and toxins in the smoke that counteracts or blunts any goodness of the nicotine itself. Gum though is pretty direct and fast. I always get a subtle but desirable boost from it.

Linkage,
It seems that combining SSRI and nicotine is unlikely a good idea. I tried to augument Lexparo with nicotine and it did not really work.
What is your take on it?
Thank you
Michael
