Lyrica 'poop out'..Now 100 x as miserable.help

Posted by Jay_Bravest_Face on December 9, 2008, at 9:16:19

Has anyone who takes Lyrica daily found that it stopped working after the 2n'd-3'rd week?(or later or sooner?) At 75mg-150mg (tried both). This stuff now makes me feel the complete opposite: very, very miserable, grumpy, angry, tired and wired at the same time.
I thought I was doing well, now just a few weeks till Xmas, and I feel like sh*t. MAJOR anti-social! All of that f*ck*ng money I paid for this crap. What a waste...anyone experience the same or somewhat?

Jay (Who is not a happy camper today)

Thanks Phillipa. No, doctor needs appointment, and I am going to be out of town Thursday for about a week. This is similar as to what I had with Neurontin(sp?), and I've read that people have to take breaks on it to keep it working. Also, interesting there was a big warning (different from other psych meds...more like ones I found with benzos) on the med sheet from the pharmacy that in *every* instance, you had to taper very, very slowly off Lyrica.

??? Jay
