Hi my doctor switched me from fluoxetine to citalopram. I have been on it before and probably lasted longer in it than other AD's.
I am still on the methylphenidate so I am hoping the combination will go well.

Hi, I was on citalopram for many years, best SSRI for anxiety, for me. Certainly felt the difference when I moved over to Lexapro, not so good for anxiety, had to add Klonopin on a regularly basis. Last couple years fluoxetine has been my SSRI of choice, but I can not make it last. When it kicks in, I feel really good, but after a month or so after the kick in, I can not make it work anymore, no matter dosage.
No I try Wellbutrin, good so far, but for full recovery I think I need to add something. I am really fed up with SSRI, but it works good for a while. I do not know, this WB+SSRI combo is good in theory, but I really can not find too many success stories in long time treatment. The inhibition properties of WB is maybe to weak, when taken with SSRI.
Good luck on the citalopram, it was a really good drug for me!
