Just some opinions on which one do you think is better and safer?
Thought I read on another post that Procardia? could have dangerous side-effects. Not sure, but just wanted to be clear.
Thanks,
Courtney

Totally different classes of med procardia aka also inderol is a beta blocker works on for some anxiety for short periods and really a heart medication. Thorazine is a major antipsychotic. What conditions are you comparing them for? Phillipa

Hey Phillipa,
Was wondering what would be the best med to have on hand if I should have a hyper-tensive episode. I already take Lotensin HCT 10-12.5 (1 per day), which keeps my blood pressure around 125/80. Was wondering if I couldn't just take one of my Lotensin if my BP did shoot up? I plan on talkimg to my GP to get his opinion.
Had just read about Procardia not being the best med possibly regarding all of the other potential problems it can cause.
What do you think?
Thanks,
Courtney

I'd definitely bring it up with both doctors. Nothing to fool around with. Blood pressure is so individual. And responses to meds. Good luck BTW!!!! Phillipa

I don't think ACE inhibitors work quickly enough...not sure what to recommend b/c it could intereact with the med you're on.
