Anybody else here taking Marplan?

Posted by Cseagraves on March 11, 2009, at 19:31:43

Hey!

Since I had a bad reation to taking Marplan before, I wanted to go back and see if starting on a lower dosage would work better.

Pdoc wants to start me back at 5 mgs per day and then go up from there. I was thinking that maybe since I seem so sensitive to meds that starting out at 2.5 mgs a day might be better and then working up from there.

I wonder if I should start at 2.5 mgs, once a day for a week and then maybe 2.5 mgs twice a day for a week and then maybe up to 5 mgs daily from there.

Anyones opinions would be great!

Thanks,

Courtney

Courney since our fears seem similar I'd go with the low dose and work up slowly. No experience with maoi though. Good luck first does tomorrow? Love Phillipa
