Works best for anxiety and my promote neurogenesis. Some take it before bed to help with sleep. It is also known to work on acetylcholine receptors which may give it a mind boosting property. This would be a topic for the alternative board.

This

http://search.lef.org/cgi-src-bin/MsmGo.exe?grab_id=0&page_id=281&query=withania&hiword=WITHAN%20withania

was qualitatively better than any other brand I tried.

It's iffy with sleep as it feels somehow dopaminergic.

Nice though.

Jarrow is also a good brand for Sensoril Ashwagandha. Some people find Ashwagandha sedating while others find it activating. Might be worth a try.
