Hi,
I'm going to try Wellbutrin XL in the near future.
But I will need a drug to help me sleep.I know that Wellbutrin and Remeron could be a good combo.
Wellbutrin and trazodone is another option. What about Wellbutrin+Remeron+trazodone?
What about Wellbutrin+Remeron+Seroquel?
What about Wellbutrin+Remeron+Lyrica?Well, I will sleep alright on these triple combos.
Perhaps I should play it safe and simple. My long-life companion Elavil doesn't mix well with Wellbutrin.
I would very much appreciate comments.
Best regards,
X-rayP.S. Buspar will take care of my anxiety.

Hi Phillipa,
I appreciate your reply!
I'm on Valium when I attend funerals,
but otherwise Buspar does a great job on my anxiety.I might try flunitrazepam (Rohypnol) for sleep,
but I'm not sure this drug will hold in the long run.Best regards,
X-ray

Hi Maxime,
Thanks for your input!
I would never touch an SSRI-drug.
All of these drugs have bad sexual side effects.Best regards,
X-ray

Remeron is made to help with sleep. I found when taking Remeron and Wellbutrin together that when sleep still was a problem, or if anxiety was getting the best of me, 1 mg of Lorazepam (Ativan) did the job of knocking it all out. I don't see in your writing what you are taking now. If you haven't tried the Remeron and Wellbutrin combo yet, try it first before looking for a third. After awhile if something is not working, it will be harder to determine which if you are taking several.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply!
I have just taken my first dose of Wellbutrin XL.
I doubt that Remeron in combination with Wellbutrin is potent enough for sleep.
But of course I will try this medicine, since it is a modern drug that has few side effects.Wellbutrin+Remeron is one of the "Heroic combos" that Stephen M. Stahl advocates in his book "Essential Psychopharmacology".
However, I shall play it safe tonight.
I have Rohypnol in my medicine cabinet, and this drug is the ultimate sleeping pill.Best regards,
X-ray

Hi Philippa,
I always sleep well on flunitrazapem (Rohypnol).
Rohypnol is the number one sleeping medicine.
It's a shame that this drug has been banned in the U.S.I took 30 mg of Remeron last night.
I woke up after two hours, but I soon fell asleep again. This morning I swallowed my second pill of Wellbutrin XL.
I have not experienced any side effects. So far, so good!
Best regards,
X-ray

X ray that's great. Wonder why a med that is supposed to be okay for bipolar and I'm unipolar made me appear manic to the pdoc? I even tripped and fell walking the dog. Strange but so glad no side effects Love Phillipa
