Is there a point to using an atypical in OCD...If one of the side effects you get is akathisia? This would seem counterproductive to treating an anxiety disorder. I recently upped my Geodon to 100 mg and feel incredibly restless.
Would it be better to trade my Geodon for Anafranil? So that I'm taking Dexedrine, Keppra, Lexapro and Anafranil?

For many patiens, absolutely yes.

Very very rare with atypicals. Wouldn't even worry about this.

That's true, but even some Atypicals are very good for anxiety problems.

This might indeed pass (I would hope)

What about luvox? It's rather more calming than the others to me with a low dose benzo? Phillipa

I've been on Luvox-it worsened my seizure disorder and I can't take benzos because I suffer from paradoxical reactions to them. Xanax made me psycho!

That's an excellent reason to avoid those meds sorry this happened to you. Phillipa
