New AD combo

Posted by tensor on November 6, 2009, at 9:47:06

I have just started with a new combo for my depression:
30mg mirtazapine
50mg sertraline
300mg bupropion

Hopefully it will give me some energy.

Sorry that I didn't see your post earlier.

Your combination treatment is interesting and looks pretty solid. Of course, you will have room to work with on the dosages of mirtazapine and sertraline.

One step at a time...

(I wish this weren't such a hard adage for me to follow).

Good luck.

Thanks.

I haven't felt much yet, only some side effects, primarily nausea and anxiety in the afternoon. Most likely from sertraline.
I posted earlier that I was about to discontinue clonazepam with e.g. Trileptal, well my pdoc doesn't want me to quit(!), ever had a pdoc that wants you on benzos? Jokes aside, he thinks this is not the right time for such an undertake, given that I have had problems with panic anxiety and that I'm still depressed, which I think is
clever and prudent.
