hello,
i was thinking what kind of work i could possibly due. i am stuck in this stage of not wanting to do anything because i got my BS degree and I am either overqualified or not qualified. I am not sure if I am ready to continue my education. I know one thing for sure - I need to work - it is hard because I am not getting unemployment of disability.
I thought i was doing good - about to start graduate school, but i developed chronic pain.

TO make this somewaht medication related theme,
I want to ask how do you deal with the side-effects of the medications. I was semi normal then the fatigue convinced me that I need medication that works not just on serotonin.I can hardly function without stimulant type med these days - but I cannot take adderal (XR or IR).
Not sure what to do now.

Could the fatique be related to something physical like the stress of dealing with chronic pain? Just a thought Phillipa

Pain is being managed. Depression unrelated and related to pain is managed. Parental pressure prevents me from being all 'strung' out on meds.
yes of course - it's a major stress cause - constant concern about interference of daily duties due to pain. Embarassment of not being able to accomplish simple things at home (as in procrastination).
I suppose less interactive (socially) type of work might help. I am feeling tired of being by myself so I'll figure something out. Work might be a good enough reason to say YES when a Dr. asks if you have friends or colleagues.
This is the end of the thread.
