Lithium anyone fill me in

Posted by rjlockhart37 on October 31, 2012, at 22:55:39

someone told me of lithium to use in my case...im think im going to check it out..but I have to play chess with my doctor to get on the same page for her to approve it.

But...when I take zyprexa at night, the feeling or the psycholgical effect of it...mmm it calms the mind, it makes me feel relief atcually vary well with mental anxiety, and tunes and rubs out thoughts that cause me to have fear and agitation. Thought numbing, but good in negative symptoms. Usally when I take it I feel like talking for a while because it gives a relief of being frozen. But anyway...im talking too much...

What effect...or does it just stabilize you or is it calming or something?

thanks for any imput..

RJ it's a mood stabalizer and when worked in addictions unit in the hospital I would see an alchoholic given low doses of lithium and a few days later they would appear very calm. So it is good. Phillipa
