I'm printing out posts from the archive to show to my doctor today. I was off of adderall but used 10mg max yesterday and was pretty wired(see posts)
Why is this happening? In 2/2004 my combo for misdiagnosed depression, instead of bipolar, was 300mg WellbutrinSR, 60mg Ritalin(later 150mg Adderall) 20mg Lexapro and 3mg clonazepam. Now, 5mg Adderall is probably best so how could I have taken 150mg back then? That is an insane dose. The doctor said to get a physical and EKG. Everything was fine. She said, you're checked out at 150 and wrote the script.
I'm going to tell my doctor today that I need to get a second opinion from a doc that takes Medicare. My therapist said that I have not been stable for 1.5 years. There is an 80 year old psychiatrist in town that has tons of good reviews and is usually inclined to drop doses. I want to see this guy but I think it better be soon.

Phil I think the older one gets the slower meds get metabolized so I feel that maybe that is why lower doses as same with myself. I think now the dose of lexapro is only 10mg of older folks and higher for younger one. Phillipa
