My issue for a long time has been social anxiety - facial tension is my huge issue. Might feel calm inside, but when the anxiety rears it's head - it's all about how others perceive me. Part of it is that I'm 6'6" so I know I'm always looked at no matter what. You can't miss me. When I'm especially anxious , I feel my face literally tighten up from my jaw all the way into my temples. It's always the afternoon - mornings are typically great - no issues. Very social etc.
My larger issue is that I'm starting to feel that this comes in cycles - I haven't charted it but I've been on a streak now of a week or so of this - where prior to that I had several weeks where I was fine ALL day - I take klonopin twice a day.
Has anybody else noticed this with their anxiety, that it comes in goes in waves that last a few weeks?

that could be a adrenal problem, a beta blocker could maybe help of what your describing.....
because if you go few weeks with not being anxious, it could be adrenal over activation or hyperthyroid
