How much worse was your depression in the past than it is today? If your depression were to get worse, would you then give yourself permission to stop trying so hard to function?
That is a familiar feeling to me.
As I suggested previously, it might be time for you to take a "SRI holiday". Your receptors / second messengers might have to re-establish a baseline state before you can reintroduce a SRI.
In the "old days" (1980s and 1990s), if someone were to relapse while taking Nardil, the drug was removed from the treatment regime for 3 months. Reintroducing Nardil afterwards often resulted in "recapturing" the antidepressant response. One of my doctors had a patient who he had to cycle between Nardil and Parnate in order to have the patient remain functional.

Have you tried say a larger dose of THC at bedtime? Worked for me. The next day was *so* much easier.

Perhaps combining trimipramine with an MAOI would potentiate an antidepressant response and promote good sleep at the same time. I think most doctors would choose Parnate before Nardil because it has a reduced liability for side effects.
